It’s nice to have a more lighthearted take on the apocalypse for a change and Doomsday Paradise sunny beachfront looks like a great place to experience the end of the world. You don’t even have to save the world if you don’t want to – there are dozens of different endings depending on your choices. You can take control of some very odd looking party-loving characters and have a little fin in a tropical paradise where you can battle enemies, hang out with friends, make narrative-affecting choices and collect loot to make your character more powerful. In Doomsday Paradise the apocalypse is coming and you really should do something to stop it, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun first! Rather it's a theme, which can be stretched across all manner of genres, from tower defence to FPS to roguelike RPGs for iOS. 'Zombie games' isn't a genre in itself, of course. But as we're rather partial to a good zombie game ourselves, we're not too bothered. They like games that want you to run them over in a car. They like those that ask you to run away from zombies. People really like games that ask you to pop waves of undead in the head. All we're trying to say is that zombie games are really popular. There's just something about the whole shuffling undead thing that evidently proves. It'll get straight back up and bite you in the neck.
